It is a spray-applied, waterborne base coat and self-healing top coat that go on like paint and peel off by hand later, so a work truck or a lifted daily gets a real protective layer with no film seams or cut edges that a wash rack and a washboard road would eventually lift. Peel Clear answers each one honestly. The self-healing top coat lets light dust and grit scratching settle back out, the peelable layer takes rock chips so the factory paint underneath stays sealed, and the finish resists UV fading and yellowing. We will not tell you it is tougher than a paint protection film, because that is not the point. The point is that when a season on gravel finally dulls the coat, we peel it off and respray instead of touching your paint.
